Creator and owner, Shannon Stage, grew up in rural North Carolina where family, friends, and food were the center of small town life. She has lived on both sides of the country and with her husband, now resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She created Sas-y Designs at her kitchen table, where most good ideas start. This latest business adventure combines her love of entertaining with an entrepreneurial spirit she has had since childhood.

She is a graduate of Wake Forest University, a former school teacher, museum educator, and avid volunteer. She has two sons in college.

“I love to entertain and always have. I enjoy making get togethers fun for my family and friends. For me, it’s a creative experience every time folks gather. Pulling it all together and anticipating the company is half the fun. In the south, the food is the centerpiece of any social occasion. If it’s a picnic, a family meal, or a special event, the food is what gets talked about. So, wouldn’t it be great if you could match your serving pieces to your event, mood, or whim? The answer was of course! And Sas-y Designs was born.

There is nothing quite like a Sas-y Server. Each piece is created by hand, one at a time, in the USA. Our pieces are designed to celebrate life everyday. Enjoy!
